1. Scope
This International Standard specifies the information to be obtained from the instruments on the instrument panel by the operator in his normal position. It also specifies the arrangement and colour distinction of this instrumentation in order to make it possible to operate the machine in a safe and proper way and to maintain it in good operating condition.
Optional requirements in this International Standard are presented in notes to the text and tables.
2. Field of Application
This International Standard applies to earth-moving machinery as specified in ISO 6165 and forestry machines as specified in ISO 6814.
Canadian Deviations are included in this Standard.
